What is the ideal Keyword Density percentage?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The ideal Keyword Density percentage should be between 1 to 3 percent.<\/p>\n

Why is this?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Firstly, one should always write content for humans and not search engines<\/strong>. Good content will be shared and could lead to indirect marketing<\/span><\/em>. Good content helps lower your site’s bounce rate<\/em><\/span> because people won’t leave after spending just 2 seconds reading the first two lines. Good content improves conversion because people are the ones who could be spending money at your site<\/strong>, not search engines.<\/p>\n

And lastly, good content improves your site’s <\/em>authority<\/span> in the eyes of major search engines like Google<\/strong>. That just means you’ll get a better chance of getting ranked high on keywords you have targeted as well as for some which you have not (more on that later).<\/p>\n

Increasing the density of a keyword beyond 4% will not help your on-page optimization and thus, will do nothing for your site’s SEO<\/span><\/strong> efforts. Google bots will come over, have a look at your content and think you are trying to cram keywords and you might end up getting flagged for Keyword Spamming<\/em><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n
