Heard the news that Google’s Chrome usage finally surpassed Microsoft’s Internet Explorer browser recently. Thought that it was about time. I suppose the main reason why many users are switching to Chrome is because the browser is clean cut, fast and works with all of Google’s applications across the board. Personally, I used to enjoy using IE before I came across Mozilla Firefox. Now, I prefer Chrome as it does not have all those irritating search bars and constant update request which ends up slowing everything down.
Other than Chrome, Google has tonnes of applications and features that would benefit businesses or for personal usage. So if you’re looking for something that is SIMPLE, FAST and INTEGRATED WELL, consider making full use of Google’s stuff. No longer do you have to spend a bundle to use Microsoft’s Office software to handle your word processing, presentations or spreadsheets and be limited to your PC or laptop. Try out Google Documents. All you need is a Gmail account. Not sure how it works? Check out the video below for a quick rundown on Google Docs which will benefit you :
Don’t have email for the business? Just get Google Apps and you could have your own business email accounts (free for up to 10 users). You would have the mobility to access your business emails with a whole range of Google’s applications anywhere at any time. Existing and new merchants who use our shopping cart solution are automatically offered Google Apps when they want to set up their business email accounts.
Keep track of your store’s statistics by using Google Analytics. If you are running an ad campaign for your online store, just link up with Google Adwords Tracking. Both of these features can be accessed by clicking on the Website Statistics button in our shopping cart Admin panel. This will help you keep track on what’s going on and provide a better perspective on how to manage your business marketing efforts.
Other than that, sharing images and uploading your YouTube product videos should be a snap. The best part is that you could manage and control all of that with a Google account. Here’s a short inspirational video I came across which will really make your day on what you can do with your Google account. Enjoy it and have a great weekend!
